Patient Care Locally would like to thank our departing Chair, Paula Clark. We wish to recognise her enormous contribution to our company during a significant time in PCL’s history. Paula joined PCL in July 2021, with her first challenge being to help us become a Community Interest Company, which happened in December 2021. Since this time PCL has grown from strength to strength, broadening the services we help to deliver and moving into other ICB’s to provide vital support where needed. We have embraced innovative thinking and technological advancement, investing in digital solutions. We have successfully built lasting partnerships (which we continue to do) and work collaboratively across systems. This is in no small part due to the inspiration, guidance and vision provided by Paula.
As Paula takes up her role as Interim Chair of LLR ICB, we wish her well and thank her for leaving PCL more stable and robust than the company she came to and with a clear vision for the future.
Vaughan McLeod currently a Non Executive Director has agreed to take up the role of Interim Chair during this period of transition.
