Director, Procurement and Contracts
Gareth is a founding director of LLRPCL, having worked with the company since 2011. He is a Partner at The County Practice, Syston where he was instrumental in building their Health Centre. This brings together Primary Care, Community Care and former secondary Care services in one building.
Services at Syston include MRI scanning, Hernia and Hand surgery, Ultrasoundand Echocardiography
Gareth has used his experience in leading the development and procurement of services for LLRPCL. This has included the development of LLR Alliance and The Covid-19 Vaccination Programme.
Director, CQC Lead
Kirk was formally elected to the board of LLR PCL at the 2019 AGM. Kirk graduated from Leicester University 1995 and has a specialist interest in Musculoskeletal problems. He has been a GP at Measham Medical Unit since 2002 and is Clinical Chair of the North West Leicestershire GP Federation and Clinical Director of North West Leicestershire Primary Care Network. In addition to his role as Director, within PCL, he is also be acting as the CQC Registered Manager.
Interim Chair
Vaughan is a successful Leicestershire business man and the Chair of The David Wilson Foundation. Since joining LLR PCL he has help shape the company’s financial governance and guided LLR PCL in becoming a Community Interest Company in 2021.
Executive GP Director
Sumit has been a GP partner since 2009, is the Associate Clinical Director for the North West Leicestershire PCN and an elected member of LLR Local Medical Committee. Sumit joined LLR PCL in 2020 and provides clinical support to the Referral Support Service
Chief Financial Officer
Hannah is a graduate of Leeds University, where she received a BSc in Maths and Music. She undertook the NHS Graduate Scheme, where she worked in York Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Wye Valley NHS Trust, in a number of different managerial roles. Hannah gained full membership of CIPFA in 2017.
Hannah started working with LLR PCL in 2021, supporting the LLR Covid Vaccination Programme, whilst working for Deloitte, where she was a Manager in Public Sector. She the joined the company full time in 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer.
Chief Executive Officer
Danah joined LLR PCL in 2016, working part time on secondment from LLR Alliance and then worked as Interim CEO before accepting the position permanently in 2019. During her time at PCL Danah has supported the transfer and development of many services into PCL’s community-based settings.
Danah is a nurse who moved to operational and general management whilst living in New Zealand, where she led many service re-design/transformation projects during her 18 years. The projects included co-designing and building new hospital wards. developing and implementing new services and transforming the patient journey through clinical services.
Danah’s interests lie in ensuring patients are treated in the most appropriate clinical setting and that those patients, who need specialist care, receive it when they need it.
Medical Director
Fahreen joined the board in early 2015. As a GPSI in ENT she is keen to look at how patients can be treated Primary Care for conditions that were traditionally treated in hospital.
Fahreen now works as PCL’s Medical Director bringing years of clinical experience to the role in ensuring the very best, quality patient care, is delivered by all of PCL’s service providers.
Fahreen has been instrumental in supporting PCLs Covid19 Vaccination Support Services.
Head of Business Development
Jake graduated from University of Derby with BA (Hons) Business Studies. He has a long association with General Practice, starting in 2010 as a Practice Manager, he has worked in Clinical Commissioning and more recently as the PCN Manager for North West Leicestershire PCN. The knowledge and experience Jake has brough with him when he joined LLR PCL in 2021 has provided the company with the ability to work much closer with General Practice colleagues.
Digital Lead
Rowan qualified in 2003 from Leicester University. He is a GP partner in a semi rural GP Practice in North West Leicestershire. Rowan is also an Elite Sports Immediate Care doctor and the Chief Clinical Information Officer for the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board. He joined LLR PCL’s executive team in 2023 to help support and shape LLR PCL’s digital strategy.
Medical Advisor Partnerships and Networks
Aruna was one of the founding directors of LLR PCL, she is a GP and serves as the Chair of the NHS Confederation Primary Care Network. Additionally, Aruna holds the role of Woman’s Health Lead for the LLR ICB, where she looking to transform clinical pathways to enable more services to be delivered by GPs with extended roles in Primary Care and is a Visiting Professor at the Lincoln University School of Pharmacy.
With a 16yr tenure as a GP partner at the University Practice in Leicester and as a clinical director of the Leicester City and University Primary Care Network Aruna has extensive experience in primary care. Committed to partnership working and integrated care pathways, Aruna has been instrumental in introducing innovative digital and workforce solutions, enhancing the quality and accessibility of healthcare services for patients in LLR.
Chief Operating Officer
Natalie is a dynamic and values-driven leader with nearly a decade of senior leadership experience across the public sector. From her time leading the sexual health services in Birmingham and Solihull, to her role as Director of Strategy at one of the UK’s largest multi-academy trusts, she has consistently driven improvements in service delivery. Recognised for influencing policy, driving strategic initiatives, and managing complex stakeholder relationships, Natalie has led transformative changes, enhancing both performance and user experience.
Her expertise spans strategic planning, policy implementation, and governance, all grounded in a commitment to reducing barriers to healthcare and improving access for underserved populations. Whether delivering local healthcare initiatives or leading large-scale, multi-agency collaborations, Natalie’s ability to lead change, foster partnerships and deliver user-focused outcomes reflects her dedication to ensuring public services are safe, sustainable and accessible to all.
